Buffalo Chicken Sausage Balls (keto)
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 tsp fennel seed
- 1 tsp rubbed sage
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
- 1 cup shredded Monterey jack cheese (4oz)
- 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles (2oz)
- 1 1/2 cup 150g protein breading mix**
- 2oz Frank's Red Hot Sauce
Instructions

Add all the ingredients to a medium bowl and mix by hand until fully combined.

Roll 1 1/2-2 inch balls.
Oven Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Place sausage balls on the pan without allowing them to touch.

Bake for 20 minutes or until browned as desired and cooked all the way through.

Allow to cool for about 10 minutes. Serve warm and enjoy!
Airfryer Instructions:

Working in batches, place the sausage balls in the airfryer basket, being careful not to over crowd them.

Airfry at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until browned as desired and cooked all the way through.

Allow to cool for about 10 minutes. Serve with blue cheese dip and/or buffalo sauce for dipping!
Recipe Notes
**If you don’t have the protein breading mixed up already you can use 90g pork rind crumbs, 14g gelatin powder and 45g egg white powder in its place.
