Instant Pot Boxed Mac n’ Cheese

Ingredients
- 3 boxes Mac n' Cheese (I used Annie's brand)
- 3 cups water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 8 tbsp salted butter (1 stick, 1/2 cup)
- 3/4 cup milk
Instructions

To the inner pot add the pasta from the boxes (save the cheese packets), water, salt and butter.

Lock the lid and turn the pressure valve to the sealing position. Select Pressure Cook (high) and set the cook time to 1 minute.

When the cook time is complete quickly release the pressure. Don't allow it to sit on Keep Warm mode or the pasta will overcook.

Add in the cheese packets and milk and stir until combined and the sauce is smooth. Enjoy right away!
Recipe Notes
If you are cooking this recipe with a 3qt Instant Pot I’d recommend cutting it down by 1/3 to just one box of mac n’ cheese, 1 cup of water, a pinch of salt, 3 tbsp of butter and 1/4 cup of milk.
